Founded in 1977, New Chen Motor Credit Sdn Bhd humbly began its journey in the motorcycle industry, growing over 45 years into a respected leader known for its expertise in motorcycle trading and services. Our journey, under the guidance of our founder Dato’ Sri Dato’ Indera Chen Kim Hock JP, began with his early start as a motorcycle technician apprentice at just 10 years old. His passion and deep knowledge have been the cornerstone of our growth and leadership in the market.

From our simple beginnings in a modest kedai papan shophouse on Jalan Tebrau, we have evolved through strategic partnerships with premier brands such as Guan Hoe Suzuki (1980), Boon Siew Honda (1982), Kawasaki Motors (1983), Hong Leong Yamaha Motors (1993), and Modenas Malaysia (1996). Our commitment to innovation was marked by the opening of our first Suzuki Showroom in 1980 and the Kawasaki Showroom in 1983, leading us to establish Malaysia’s first full glass-house showroom for Modenas in 1996. The journey continued with the Honda 4S Showroom in 2006, culminating in the 2023 Yamaha Lifestyle Zone—a remarkable four-storey development across four shop lots. This facility, featuring a 12-bike lift service center, the GENBLU Cafe, a motorcycle display showroom, an accessories showroom, and a museum, redefines the standard for motorcycle retail in Malaysia.

Our notable successes as top sales in many dealerships notably Modenas in the '90s, under Dato’ Sri Chen's stewardship, propelled us to new heights and affirmed our role as a benchmark in the motorcycle industry. This success laid the groundwork for our development and helped establish our path to where we have set foot today, becoming a leading Yamaha Motor dealership in the region. Today, as the largest Yamaha Lifestyle Zone Dealer in the Johor Region, our unwavering dedication to the Yamaha brand distinguishes us from competitors.
